Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window
An aircraft transporting Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was identified in the jet's front window, according to an official announcement which stated that Hegseth was safe.
"The plane touched down based on standard protocol and all passengers, among them Secretary Hegseth, is safe," a spokesperson commented in a public statement.
Hegseth was returning from a short visit to Brussels during the flight.
This event is not the first occasion that a United States armed forces jet ferrying a high-ranking official has encountered technical problems.
Earlier this year, a American military jet carrying the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was compelled to return to the US capital after encountering a mechanical fault.
